In the first quarter NSW lead brightly to lead at quarter time 2.4.16 to 1.2.8.
However ACT hit back in the second quarter to be leading at the main break 4.2.26 to 2.6.18.
In the third quarter it was ACT again extending their lead 6.2.38 to 3.7.25.
However whatever was said at 3/4 time by Head Coach Tracey Kick had the desired effect as the NSW Blues over-ran the Blue and Gold of the ACT to win 7.2.52 to 6.3.39 which meant NSW had unbeliveably scored 27 points to 1 in the final quarter.
By winning the Division 2 Grand Final, NSW is promoted to Division 1 and at the next Womens AFL championships in 2013 will take on Western Australia, defending Champions Victoria and Queensland.

All coaching and support staff, players, AFL NSW/SWAFL Officials, TPP officials and sponsors have to be congratulated for ensuring that NSW and the wider SWAFL playing group will bring back some exciting skills to the local competition and the belief that we are equal with any of the other women's leagues around the country.
GO NSW!
