DVBA Thanks Volunteers
Last Saturday evening, we were able to show our appreciation to those who help our junior competition run smoothly, with our Volunteer Night. Domestic clubs were asked to nominate someone who they felt deserved to be recognised for the time and effort they put in to their respective junior clubs. They were then invited to a small presentation ceremony, held at Diamond Valley, and were presented with a plaque to commemorate the occasion. DVBA CEO, Ross Wignell, Executive Vice-President, Jason van Hout, and Secretary, Joe Crupi, were on hand to present these small tokens of our gratitude to the worthy recipients.
After the Presentation, all the honoured volunteers and their families were welcomed into the VIP area for our SEABL Men game against the Canberra Gunners. The team put on a great display and came out on top, a fitting end to the evening.
