Please make sure you have correct uniforms by round 4.
This includes every player with the same top and a number 20cm high on the back of the top. If there is one or two players on your team with different tops please order new tops for them.

The new season will start on Monday October 13 from 6pm.

We will have Come and try days on Sunday Sept 28, Sunday October 5 and 12 from 2pm - 4pm.

Please have your team registered before Friday October 10 as this is the cutoff date.

Geelong are Western Affiliates Champions 2013/14

Geelong Touch Association have retained the Western Affiliates Cup.
A successful campaign lead by Ricky Simmonds has resulted in the GTA overcoming Ballarat, Macedon and Portland. Congratulations to Ricky and the GTA representatives.
Congratulations also to Cam Tangaroa and Amy Barton for winning MVP awards for mixed and women's comps. Cam's second consecutive year of winning this award!more

Finals Draw week 1

Open to view Draw (spreadsheet attached at the bottom also). Please note that in order to make sure we don't run out of light, we will be awarding 3 points for the first try, and two points to each try after that. This will ensure no drop off will be required.more

Finals - 2013/14

Finals System

Div A/B will be split up into two divisions of 8. Eg Teams 1-8 will be division A and teams 9-16 will be division B.

Division C will also have a top 8.

The finals system will be the same as an AFL top 8 system.

Eg.
1 vs 4 (Second chance)
2 vs 3 (Second chance)
5 vs 8 (elimination)
6 vs 7 (elimination)more

Western Affiliates Round 1

Geelong hosted Round 1 of WAC on Sunday 24th November. Take a look at some of the great photos courtesy of Annie Cramp, in the 'gallery'. Great work by Ricky Simmonds and Tim Cromb (Ballarat) to organise the day, and a big thank you to all the players and refs for making the day an enjoyable success. Geelong will be on the road for Round 2 to be hosted by Macedon (Gisborne).more

Competition starts Monday 6pm October 14
Team rego (online) and payment required by October 7th.
No competition rounds on December 23rd, December 30, January 27 (Australia Day)
Finals series start March 3rd and Finals on Saturday 22nd March.
Costs; $110 pp but only $65 per high school student -great value!more

Geelong are Western Affiliates Champions 2012/13

The final round of WAC was hosted by Ballarat on March 16.
Geelong fielded 4 teams; mens, womens, mixed and a mixed over 40's.
Competition was provided by Ballarat, Portland, and Macedon Affiliates. Unfortunately Shepparton and MtGambier were unable to field teams.
