Team Officials Wanted for Senior State Cup

Ballina Touch is calling for nominations for team officials for our senior representative sides to attend the 2016 State Cup in Port Macquarie. Ballina Junior Touch Wraps Up Another Season

Ballina Touch Juniors wrapped up the 2015-2016 season on Friday with the playing of 14 Grand Finals in the Under 12 to Under 18 Divisions. Please be aware that NSW Health - Tobacco Compliance Officers will now be issuing fines to people found smoking at sporting events.
Smoking has been banned at sport venues in spectator areas since 7 January 2013 under the Smoke-free Environment Act 2000.
Club members and spectators are still saying that they are not aware of the new regulation and have not been advised by their club.
Unfortunately this excuse will not prevent the individual from receiving a fine.

The fine for smoking at a sporting event is $550 to the individual smoker.more


FOOTY FIT AUSTRALIA- FITNESS ACADEMY PROGRAM offers Junior players from Touch Football, Rugby League, Soccer, Netball, Hockey, Athletics pre-season skills and development in areas such as Speed and Agility, Strength training, Skills and Technique development, Nutrition and Goal Setting. Open to ages 8 -16years.more

Working With Children

A ‘Working with children’ check must be completed by the adult contact for each team and submitted to Administration. The NSW Government has recently changed the way these checks are administered. The check must now be completed on-line via the Roads and Maritime Services website - please use the following link:more

If you turn 14 years before 2 December and are interested in seriously improving your Touch, learning heaps, having lots of fun and being a part of a great club weekend, come and give U20s at NSW state cup a go.more
