Port Pirie Basketball Association is pleased to run the PPBA Bulls Junior Basketball Development, Saturday mornings from 18th October 2014 and will run during school term 4 2014 and school term 1 2015.

Basketball is an excellent opportunity for kids to get active, it involves throwing, catching, shooting, defending, bouncing. It develops eye hand coordination with players developing all the skills of the game.

Session will start at 9.30 am and run for one hour. It is open to all kids born after 2006 until 2010, kindergarten to grade 3. Parents/ care givers are encouraged to participate but should remain present during the session. Kids and assistants will be covered by PPBA Public Liability, Personal Insurance Cover will be the responsibility of individuals parents/ care givers.

The PPBA Bulls program will be run at the home of Port Pirie Basketball- Donaldson Stadium (adjacent netball courts). Cost will be $2 for each participant per session.

The PPBA Bulls program will be both a training session as well as playing modified games and will be an excellent spring board into our U10 competition in years to come, so if your child has ever considered playing basketball here’s your chance.

Kids will just need to bring a water bottle, shorts and tee shirt and good fitting sports shoes. Canteen facilities will be available.

Training singlets will be available to purchase for $20. Some sizes are available at the first session.

Comment Guidelines: The SportingPulse Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
