SYDNEY COMETS TO TAKE ON THE SUTHERLAND SHARKS

The Sydney Comets Championship Men and Women play their first home game of the WABL season this Saturday March 7th at Alexandria Stadium.

Tip off for the women's game is 6pm followed by the men's game starting at 8pm.more

The City of Sydney Basketball Association will once be running a one day shooting camp in the April school holidays.more

Open to all players (boys and girls) aged 8-15 years the Skills & Drills camps provide a great place for any young basketballer to refine your skills and learn a little more about the game of basketball.more

JACK JONES NAMED ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Sydney Comet Jack Jones was today named the Northeast 10 Conference Rookie of Year following a vote of the league's fifteen head coaches.

Enrolled at College of St Rose in Albany New York the 6'8 forward is the second leading point scorer averaging 10.7 points per game.more

12 MEN WIN COASTAL CLASSIC

Congratulations to the 12 Men Gold team winners of the 2015 Coastal Classic over the weekend.

Undefeated in the round games the boys defeated Newcastle in the Semi before a Grand Final showdown with the Hills Hornets.more

COMETS SELECTED FOR NEW SOUTH WALES METRO

The City of Sydney Basketball Association is pleased to announce the Sydney Comets will have three players represent New South Wales at the Under 18 Australian Junior Championships in April.more

ANDREW LAZARIS RECEIVES ORDER OF AUSTRALIA MEDAL (OAM)

The Board and all those who are involved with the City of Sydney Basketball Association (CSBA) would like to congratulate our President Mr Andrew Lazaris on being named in the Australia Day Honours List and awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for Services to Sport in Australia.more

NEW SCOREBOARD

The City of Sydney Basketball Association has a new scoreboard. The scoreboard comes from AusSport scoreboards and is the first in Australia to exclusively integrate with the stadium scoring software program.

The scoreboard also features an LED electronic team name display with a scrolling text line. Check out the video link for the scoreboard along with how to use stadium scoring.more
