2011 Under 17's and 18's are Finals series to be ran seperate to the 13's to 16's competition.

Entry fee to be charged as followed;

Adults $5

Aged Pensioners $2

Children under 16 FREE

Money from the gate to pay for referee's fees, footballs etc

This year sees the introduction of a Grand Final Man of the Match Award for all 17's and 18's competitions.

Elimination and Qualifying Finals to be held at Lakeside Oval, Minor and Major Semi's at St John Oval, Finals at Harker Oval and Grand Finals to be at Maitland Sports Ground.

Cardiff JRL move up the Good Sports ladder

Through hard work, the Cardiff JRL comittee have advanced to Level three in the Good Sports program. They are the only junior Club in the Hunter Region at this level,also the only Rugby League Club in NSW. They were also nominated for junior club of the year 2010 in the Hunter New England Area.

They were presented with an award last weekend by the Good Sports team with the Lord Mayor in attendance for the event.

A gallant Newcastle Rebels Under 18s side has advanced to the Final of the AAMI Country Divisional Championships with a hard fought 24-18 victory today over Central Hunter Power at Resco Park Singleton.

Down 18-10 at half time and having had a player dismissed, the boys showed real tenacity in the second half to keep their opposition scoreless.

Tries today to Joshua Morrison (2), Nephi Hamon, Steve Widders and Ryan Wood with Steve Widders kicking 2 goals.

The side will now travel to Albury on Thursday to play the Western Rams in the Final as a curtain raiser to the City-Country fixture next Friday night May 6 2011.


2011 Under 18's Victorious at Country Championships

Newcastle Rebels were Victorious against the Northern Thunderbolts and Oxley Pioneers on the weekend.


2010 Newcastle and Maitland compete in the Under 13's and 14's Country Clusters 30th May at Harker Oval

Newcastle, Maitland and the Central Coast will compete in the Country Under 13's and 14's Clusters on Sunday 20th June at Harker Oval.


2010 Group 21 to compete in the Country Clusters on July 3rd

Group 21 will travel to Coonabarabran to compete in the 2010 Under 13's and 14's Country Clusters.

2010 Under 18's REBELS secure a place in Semi Finals

REBELS MARCH TO VICTORY Newcastle Rebels under 18’s overcame a late charge from the Oxley Pioneers to secure a place in the country championships final, winning 36 -28. This game will be a curtain raiser to City v Country game at Port Macquarie, on May 7th.
