Stadium extension boost with $871,000 State Gov Grant awarded to Clippers

EXCITING NEWS - Suncoast Clippers received State funding for our stadium expansion. This is the start of our extension of a one court basketball stadium to a three court multipurpose facility. Thanks to the Newman LNP Government partnering with the Maroochydore Eagles Basketball Association to deliver this project via the Get Started Grant. Presented by Sport & Rec Minister Steve Dickson.more

Aussie Hoops Uncovers Tomorrows Stars

Maroochydore Basketball launched the first of their 2011 Aussie Hoops programs at Suncoast Christian College on Wednesday 2nd March. The resurgence of the popularity of basketball across Australia and in particular the Sunshine Coast has prompted Maroochydore basketball to provide opportunities for first time players to enjoy basketball through the Aussie Hoops program.
