Awarding of the TFA Level 5 referee accreditation can only occur at a national event and recognises outstanding performance and ability by the National Referee Coaching Panel with the endorsement of the Australian Director of Referees. $550 FINE FOR SMOKING AT SPORTING VENUES – SPECTATORS AND PARTICIPANTS

New South Wales Touch Association has asked Affiliates to ensure their members are aware that NSW Health - Tobacco Compliance Officers will now be issuing fines to people found smoking at sporting venues. Smoking has been banned at sport venues in spectator areas since 7 January 2013 under the Smoke-free Environment Act 2000. Please click 'more'.more

FOOTWEAR TO BE WORN BY ALL JUNIOR & SENIOR MEMBERS - WARRINGAH COUNCIL STIPULATION

Members are advised that Warringah Council has implemented a stipulation in regards to footwear worn by our members on grounds during Summer.  Only boots/shoes with short moulded studs (no screw ins), short bladed soles or multiple studs (dimpled) are allowed to be worn.  Shoes with long studs or long blades are NOT permitted to be worn throughout the Summer Season.  Members are also reminded of the Australian Touch Association Playing Rules in regards to footwear.  Click on "more" for the details ......
