Saturday Scrimmage Games On Again

Saturday Scrimmage got off to a great start last Saturday. It's a great way for new players to "have a go" at basketball and for competition players to get some training in. We run 4 x 20 minute quarters and players are assigned to teams on the day. At the end of the season the player with the most baskets will receive a trophy. 2015 Spinners Tournament

Rollerblaze entered teams in A & B grades at the 2015 Spinners Tournament held in Caloundra over the weekend of 16-18 January. Our B grade team finished 4th from 7 teams with Rob Bailey named on the B Grade All Star Five at the end of the tournament. 9th Trophy Presentation Lunch

Jackie Lauff, CEO and Co-Founder of Sport Matters joined close to 40 players today at Hope Island Tavern for the 9th Rollerblaze trophy presentation. Katie Coleman (better known at "Skatie" within the Qld basketball family) recently donated her Infinite basketball wheelchair to our programme and with a few very minor renovations the chair is now ready for anyone wanting to have a go at basketball. Grill'd Recognise Awesome Efforts

Every game night for the rest of this season one player from each game will receive an "Awesome Effort" gift certificate thanks to Grill'd at the Robina Town Centre.
