Teiwaki Tekanene

Mr Teiwaki Tekanene was been a competitive player since in school. Since 2001 Mr Tekanene was involved in one of the basketball association in Teimaiku which is well known as Teimaiku United Basketball Association. He began his role in this club as a former point guard and swing player in a division two level who drives the team of TUBA wins the first ever inaugural Tarawa Cup since 2002, 03.

Vice President

Nenetita Toare - based out of TUBA Nenetita has been involved in basketball since his days in High School. At this point in time being new to the administration role in the KBF he is very willing to learn and at the same time assist in developing basketball throughout Kiribati.

Treasurer

Tebataua Karotu - nominated through the Betio Basketball Club has a wealth of experience in finance, an experience obtained through her work as the Solidarity Officer for the Kiribati National Olympic Committee. She is passionate about sports and is willing to take on an added responsibility and assist in the development of basketball, a game she started playing in high school and has been passionate about ever since.

Director

Aroito Tetuai - is a teacher by profession but is also an active athlete still in his competitive prime. He is a member of the famed Bikenibeu-Dream (Bik-Dream) basketball team playing at centre and is based out of the Bikenibeu Basketball Club. As a teacher he coaches the Junior Secondary School (JSS) TUC1 U16 team which won the inaugural JSS Championships. Aroito is a former national basketball representative having competed at the Micronesian Basketball Tournament in 2000 and at the 2003 Pacific Games in Suva Fiji.

Director (Competition and Technical Coordinator)

Bwebwentau Iamti  - he is the youngest member on the Executive Board but has alot of experience in administration, a role he enjoys. He still plays competitively and is also very keen in his role as an administrator involved in the Betio Community Club project. Bwebwentau has been instrumental in the development of the Force 5 Club which is represented at the National level through a team aptly named Force 5 and who are contenders for National Champions titles. His youthful vibrance is contagious a trait that has won him admiration among his peers. There is no doubt that with Bwebwentau on the KBF Executive Board he will help in moving things forward.

Director

Tekabwaara Raurenti - based out of the Teaoraereke Basketball Club, Tekabwara has been the key person in the development, encouragement and promotion for the game of basketball in his area of Teaoraereke. Not only has Tekabwaara been an athlete, he also has been an administrator for the sport of basketball as well as in athletics. A teacher by profession he is the driving person behind sports at St Patrick High School. As a player for the famed Saint's Team he was formidable as a forward, a position he plays still to date.

Director (Marketing and Promotion)

Rota Onorio - as a senior member of the basketball community Rota brings in alot of experience in the field of sports administration with a background in business from previous work experiences. Rota was a former national representative who competed in basketball at the Micronesian Games in Palau in 1998, an experience that has given him the desire to give back to the sport of basketball. Being involved in the KBF Executive Board is not new to him and his experience and desire would no doubt help and assist KBF Executive in moving the sport forward.
