The NSWRL Junior Representative competition begins next week with the majority of the Bulldogs home matches for the Harold Matthews and SG Ball competitions to be played at The Crest Stadium.

The venue will also be the home for the Bankstown City Bulls VB NSW Cup and the Sydney Bulls Bundy Red Cup competition matches.

The Crest Stadium is located next to Steve Folkes Reserve and the Dunc Gray Velodrome Centre. Entry into The Crest can be made off Rex Rd or Carysfield Rd with parking at both ends of the ground.

For supporters catching a train to The Crest best advised to get off at Yagoona, Sefton or Chester Hill railway stations. From Yagoona walk along the Hume Hwy and enter in down Johnstone and Carysfield Rd's (walk contains a few hills). Flat walk from Sefton across Wellington Rd and down Hector St link with Johnstone and Carysfield Rd's. Coming from Chester Hill walk down Chester Hill Rd and cut through behind the Twin Willows Hotel and walk along Johnstone and Rex Rd's.

Entry to the ground is located next to Steve Folkes Reserve.

Next to the Velodrome is the Handle Bar Tavern and the home of post match functions for the Bulls VB NSW Cup and Bundy Red Cup sides.

The Junior League website will provide match reports and interviews with the coaches from both the Bulldogs Junior Representative sides. Nathan Towney is in charge of the Harold Matthews this year with Jon Wilson as his Assistant and former Bulldogs winger Jason Williams has control of the SG Ball side with Jamie Whitney as his Assistant.

The Harold Matthews and SG Ball competitions last for nine rounds with four weeks of finals including the Grand Final to be played on Saturday 9 May at the Western Weekender Stadium in North St Marys.

Both competitions comprise of 18 teams with ESJRL (Roosters) and South West Sydney Academy taking part in the Harold Matthews and Newtown and Melbourne competing in the SG Ball. Central Coast, St George, Cronulla, Balmain, Manly, Western Sydney Academy, Western Suburbs, Gold Coast, South Sydney, North Sydney, Illawarra, Parramatta, Canberra and Penrith join the Bulldogs as the 16 teams that will take part in both of the NSWRL District Junior Representative competitions.

Make sure you support the Junior Bulldogs in 2009 and confirmation of times for matches will be posted on the Junior League website as soon as they come to hand.
