Coaching Programmes

Led by experienced coaches, our programmes offer skill development for netballers at all stages.  Both boys and girls are welcome.

How to register/contact us:

Registration in advance is essential.  There are limited spaces for some programmes/age groups to ensure quality coaching.  It is a good idea to register early to secure your space.

REMAINING 2020 PROGRAMMES:

Term 4 Twilight Netball – Year 5/6 and 7/8 and Senior Grades

Six week league played on Mondays. Juniors play at 4 & 5 pm, and Seniors at 6 & 7pm.

• Fun, social games of twilight netball. Entries do not have to be made by a school/club, you can enter with a group of friends. No uniforms required, just a ball and bibs.
• In Term 4, Year 4 players may join the Year 5 grade and play 6v6 twilight netball
• In Term 4, Year 6 players may choose to try 7v7 netball. If there are enough teams of Year 6 registered to play 7v7 we will keep them in their own Year 6 7v7 grade.
• 7-8 and seniors play 7v7.
• Mixed teams are welcome. In the 7v7 grades, only 2 males may be on court at a time and should be at opposite ends of the court.
• Teams provide their own umpire, or choose to pay $120 extra for the 6 week league.
• $80 per junior team. $210 per Senior Team
• Mondays 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30 Nov, 7 Dec. Rain out day Tuesday 8 Dec

Term 4 Skills Sessions – Years 3 to 8

Four week programme for Year 3-8 players of all abilities. A chance to refresh your netball skills or have a go at netball.  Learn from our experienced coaches in small groups.

• Have fun and work on your core netball skills at this four week programme
• Wednesday afternoons: Year 3-4 4.00-5.00pm, Year 5-6 & Year 7-8 5.00-6.00pm.
• Outdoors at the Taita Courts
• 28 October, 4, 11, 18 November. (Rain out day 25 November)
• $40 per child. Registrations essential, register online.  Online form available at the right of this page (on desktop computer) or at the end of the page (on a device).

Term 4 futureFERNS - Year 1-2

Six week programme, Saturday mornings at the Taita Netball Courts, offered in Term 1 and again in Term 4.

• Sessions are loads of fun and include skill development activities and a game of modified (4 v 4) Netball.
• No uniforms, practices, or equipment required, but we recommend teams wear t-shirts of the same colour.
• Enter as an individual, or as a team of 4-7 players (6 is a good number). Team entry is recommended as it is fun to play with a group of friends!
• Our trained Junior Co-ordinators lead the sessions and Star Helpers help players to do the activities as demonstrated. Star Helpers need no previous netball experience.
• We run FREE Star Helper training on Wednesday 28 October from 7.00-8.30pm. One helper per team must attend. Additional adults are welcome to attend.
• 31 October, 7, 14, 21, 28 Nov, and 5 Dec. Rain out day 6 Dec (note, Sunday)
• $45 per child (register online), or $180 per team (for Term 4) of 4-7 players (register via NHV Form 3b). Registrations close 23 October 2020.
