Within the BBA By-laws is it stipulated within certain age groups that a zone cannot be played in defence. Please refer to the document by clicking here about what is a zone.

The document attached relates to Basketball Vic Country Championships but we play the same rules within our Under 12 and Under 14 age groups. A zone cannot be played.

A zone also cannot be played in most situations in the A Grade Senior competition either.
