Redbacks add Jesse Wagstaff

The Southside Mitsubishi Redbacks signed Perth Wildcats’ small-forward Jesse Wagstaff for the 2010 State Basketball League season.

Coach David Harris is ecstatic about the signing and says that Jesse will help to make the team highly competitive in what he believes will be an exciting year ahead.

Jesse’s first season in the National Basketball League has been highly impressive, with his averaging 9 points along with 4 rebounds in just 18 minutes per game.

In his four-year USA College Basketball career Jesse played for Metro State in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. In that time he played a massive 124 games and was ranked first in free-throws made and fourth in scoring and rebounds in the College’s history.

We take the opportunity of welcoming Jesse and look forward to the positive contribution and high level of professionalism we are certain that he will bring to our club.
