AREA AGREEMENT – DISTRICT LEAGUE/JUNIOR LEAGUE
An agreement between the Picola & District FL and the Albury Wodonga JFL
This agreement is signed pursuant to the Victorian Country Football League Incorporated Rules and Regulations pertaining to clearances and permits and in particular clause 2.10 whereby an interchange of players between Clubs of the above-mentioned Leagues may take place without clearance and is subject to any provisions contained within this agreement.
PROVIDED HOWEVER:
(i) That this Agreement is in force for the current season only.
(ii) That the player(s) concerned are acquainted with VCFL regulations 2.1 and 2.5 regarding one day permits to Major Leagues and eight (8) matches.
(iii) That prior to each match played, the player shall obtain written permission to do so from his parent club. The permit shall be in triplicate similar to a one day permit form and dispersed as required under Regulation 2.1 of the VCFL Rules and Regulations.
(iv) With the exception of players of Junior age competitions, players of any club having a bye will not be allowed to play with another club on that day, unless he has previously played with that club in the current season under this agreement. The club playing the player from the other League shall show his registered club on the match team sheet. Players of third 18 teams of Senior Grade competitions are not to be classified as players of Junior age competitions.
(v) That this agreement cannot be altered unless agreed to by the Area Manager.
(vi) That in order for a player playing under such Area Permit to participate in a finals series in that season the player must have played a minimum of five (5) games in the team of the grade in which he has been selected to play in the finals and has met any additional league eligibility requirements.
LOCAL CONDITIONS:
1. INTERCHANGE OF PLAYERS
- District League players are permitted 8 permits to play in the Junior League H&A
- Junior League players are permitted 8 permits to play in the District League H&A U17’s;
- Junior League players are permitted NO permits to play in the District League H&A U14’s;
2. FINALS PERMITS & ELIGIBILITY
- District League players are permitted to play in the Junior League Finals
o The player must have played a minimum of five (5) games in the team of the grade
in which he has been selected to play in the finals and has met any additional league
eligibility requirements
o The total number of permits must not exceed 8
- Junior League players are permitted NO permits to play in the District League Finals
3. GAMES PER DAY/WEEKEND

5. 8 PERMITS AND CLEARANCES
o Not Applicable
6. REPORTED PLAYERS
- A player playing on permit that is reported shall face the Tribunal of the League of which the
offence was committed. Any penalty that is imposed shall apply in all competitions.
7. PERMIT BREACHES
- Any breach of Permit arrangements and agreements will be referred to the VCFL under Rule 1.3 –
Penalty for playing ineligible or unregistered players
8. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
- Any player who plays Ovens & Murray seniors or Reserves or District League seniors matches
shall be ineligible to play in any AWJFL match on the same weekend
This agreement is valid and will remain current unless endorsed by the WorkSafe VCFLNorth East Area Manager
