Strong V/Line Cup win
SUNRAYSIA has won the V/Line Cup Under 15 football tournament.
Sunraysia capped off their tournament with another dominant performance, defeating South West by 115 points, 18.13 (121) to 1.0 (6).
It is the third successive year in which the V/Line Cup team has the won the premiership in their division.
In their three games across the tournament, Sunraysia conceded only 31 points as they proved to be the overwhelming team.
Sunraysia coach Mark Alvey said he was hoping the win would promote Sunraysia into Division Two for next year’s tournament.
“I wouldn’t say I’ve been surprised at how easily we have won each game, but the boys have just been ruthless in their approach,” he said.
