In your own words…
How did you get into trials?
When I was six my neighbour lent me a 2006 world trials DVD then my brother and I where begging to go see an event so mum and dad located an event that we could go to and watch, it was the twin shock masters at Conondale, there we had a ride of Williams’ and Grant’s bikes then we liked it so much that we had trials bikes by the next year.
Full time pro, full time worker or full time student?
On weekends I try to practice, on week days I’m a student and holidays I work for my parents.
How your 2010 season is going?
Good I have finished midfield in most of the c-grade competitions I have been in. Considering I am only 12 I think that is good.
Who is your biggest rival and why?
My brother James, at the Queensland Championships there was only one point between us.
How did you go in the 2010 Qld Titles?
Very bad…just kidding I won open junior which involved beating people up to 4 years older than me.
How do you see the future of your trials career?
I believe that I will at least get to a world round.
What changes would you like to see to better trials in Australia?
I would defiantly like for more venues and more training days.
Who do you look up to in Australian trials?
Boyd & Mitch Wilcox.
What is your training program?
Build sheds, pick up rocks in the paddock and hope I get paid.

My brother and Lyndon Blake.
What part of your riding you want to improve?
All of it.
Do you ride every day or when do you ride?
Some times occasionally after school.
What are your plans for the rest of the season?
#1 #1 #1 #1 #1 #1 but any thing could happen.
Do you lay out sections or free ride?
Either.
Who are your sponsors?
I don’t have any I am open to any offers.
What is your present bike?
Gas Gas txt pro 125 2009 model.
What have you do to it to improve?
It’s a gasser so with a little maintenance it is perfect.
How do you keep your enthusiasm when riding bad?
I DON’T ride badly.
What surfaces do you like riding on the best and why?
I like big rock slabs because I can get really steep and get an adrenalin rush.
What surfaces do you dislike to ride on, why and how do you cope for it?
Slippery car bonnets [don’t try the school car park].
Worst trials moment?
At the 2009 Australian moto trials championship half way. Through the first day I found out that I was wining then James who was coming second psyched me out then next lap I got a FIVE (slipped off a log and laid the bike over) so now I just don’t listen to people who talk about scores.
Worst trials crash?
Same as the worst moment (read above). Not a bad crash but a baaaad crash.
Best competition result thus far?
Qld titles 2010 I won open junior.
Where is your trial riding heaven?
Just over a hill from my house.
Do you use a trials pushbike?
Yes I also get called show off in the school grounds.
What interested do you have away from trials?
BMX.
What do you feel makes a good minder?
Some one who cares for me more than the bike.
What do you like about trials compared to other motorcycle disciplines?
You get to ride all day and the course changes each day.
Who is rider you admire from another disciplines?
I send my spare time practicing not watching other people.
Any other disciplines you like to try?
No trials is my trophy sport.
Have you ever or wish to do the SSDT?
Yes but it would be harsh on me.
If you could be or do something for a day, what would it be?
Not a soccer ball.
Are you superstitious before an event?
Not recently.
What is an average seven days in your life?
On weekends I try to practice or go to a comp, on week days I’m a student.
When we run out of fossil fuel what do you think the future trials bike will run on?
Air - I already have a design.
If you could change one rule in trials, what would it be and to what and why?
There should be no penalty for rolling backwards with your feet up because it is another talent that could be mastered and used to your advantage.
