About Storm
Strathalbyn Storm is the junior development program of the Strathalbyn and District Basketball Association.
The program caters for players from U10s to U23s and is focused on improving our athletes skill in a fun and comfortable environment. The program is open to all interested and Strathalbyn and District players who:
- Want to improve their skills and understanding of the game
- Want to play at the highest local level possible. Representing the Storm against other country associations around the State.
- Want to be exposed to the best coaching both the district and the State has to offer.
The Storm program caters for players of all skill levels – having first and second teams in most age groups. If you are willing to work hard and give it a go then you are most welcome to be a part of the Strathalbyn Storm.
Storm also caters for people keen to get into coaching with a comprehensive coach mentor and development program.
Strathalbyn Storm teams participate in numerous state-wide tournaments, before concluding with the SA Country Junior Basketball Championships.
