Vacancy exist for Secretary General of CISNOC
CISNOC is seeking to employ a full time Secretary General to administer the Strategic, Financial and Management direction of the organisation. Based in Rarotonga, the appointee will report through to the Executive Board and will be responsible for the direction of a small team.

International Olympic Academy 2018 - Cook Islands
We are pleased to announce that Ms Luisa Peters and Mr Potini Regina Potini will be representing the Cook Islands at the 58th Young Participants Session in Ancient Olympia, Greece from 16 - 30 June 2018. Whilst Manine Lynch was unsuccessful this time round, the CISNOC Board has endorsed for her application to be considered in the next intake 2019.

Oceania athletes to join 8th AWG - Sapporo 2017
Kuwait, October 30, 2016: The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) is delighted to confirm that athletes from the Oceania National Olympic Committees (ONOC) will take part in the OCA’s 8th Asian Winter Games in Sapporo, Japan, next February.

Development of Sports in the Commonwealth
Commonwealth Games Association of the Cook Islands are currently present in Edmonton attending workshops on the Development of Sports throughout the Commonwealth. Other topics also being covered on Sports is Gender Equality, Human Rights, Para Sports, Youth Games and Athletes Development.

New Administration Officer for CISNOC
Another recent appointment for CISNOC is Administration Officer, Melanie Wilson. From the code of Athletics, Melanie Wilson has experience and knowledge in Administration after hosting a successful and regional event for Athletics in 2014. Her duties within CISNOC is to assist the President and Secretary General of CISNOC and daily office responsibilities for the NOC. We welcome Melanie on board

New CGA Administration Officer for CISNOC
CISNOC has currently employed a new person that will take over the affairs of the Commonwealth Games Association from this year to 2018. Augustine Kopa, currently graduated from ICECP Programme from the sport of Aquatics, has been appointed as the CGA Administration Officer for the Cook Islands CGA.

CGF General Assembly 2016 in Edmonton
Sports leaders from 71 Commonwealth nations and territories have started arriving today in Edmonton, Canada, for the Annual Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) General Assembly. The 2016 General Assembly, takes place from 5-7 October 2016 at the city’s Chateau Lacombe Hotel. The Secretary General of CISNOC, Robert Graham and Senior Vice President, Anthony Turua is in attendance for Cook Islands.
