The function of the Futsal Referees Technical Committee is to:

- implement the national referee development curriculum within Football Federation Victoria as directed by the National Referees Technical Committee;

- supervise the career development of all registered match officials by ensuring that all requirements and processes documented in the Match Official Policies and Procedures Manual and the Australian Officiating Development Schedule are implemented without exception;

- demonstrably comply with all FFA directions regarding the development, training, education, coaching and accreditation of match officials;

- be responsible for the identification of registered match officials ready to undertake further training programs and recognition at national level;

- monitor, supervise and assess their registered match officials undertaking training programs and accreditation processes.
