Teams

We encourage potential players to organise their own teams and register as a team. However, individual registrations are welcome – we can usually allocate individuals to a team. To ensure that all players get a decent run in each game, we recommend teams restrict the number of players to seven in the team. If more than seven players register to one team, a roster is required as only two players are permitted on the bench for each game.

Player Uniforms

Players of all age groups must adhere to the following attire and protective equipment guidelines:

• Team Shirt/Top (numbered)
  
• Pocketless Shorts
• Long Socks (to cover shin pads)
• Shin Guards/Pads
• No jewellery (including body piercings)
  
• Correct footwear

 

   For the younger age groups (9’s, 11’s & 13’s) the player fee
   includes the hire of team Shirts/Tops.
   Hired shirts/tops must be returned at the end of the season,
   preferably by the last night of competition played or
   Grand Final night.

 

Older age groups tend to supply their own team shirts by choice.

FFV insurance is $21 & $31 for juniors & seniors respectively. MRF committee has agreed to absorb the increased $1 charged by FFV to ensure fees remain the same.

FFV insurance is only paid once per year even if you play both winter and summer competition in the same year. Coverage begins April and continues until March the following year. The fee is based on age not age group played. e.g. A player born in 1996 who plays in a youth or open team pays junior fees.

If you play in more than one competition per season, you are requried to complete two registration forms and submit two MRF fees. Only one FFV fee is payable. We provide a family discount of $10 per additional player from the same family.

Want to join us?

We welcome new players of all ages. Join us at the start of either season. Registration nights are held on the last night of competition for 9 and unders at Macedon and the Grand Final night the following week at Woodend.

Dates are advertised under the News section or the Calendar section of this website. You need to register with FFV via MyFootballClub every year. This can be done at any time during the year (you don’t need to pay until competition registrations open). We open for registrations a couple of weeks prior to the start of the season.

You would like to play but can't commit to every week? We now offer 'Emergency Player Only' options. All you need to do is register with MyFootballClub under 'Emergency Junior/Senior Futsal' option for, pay the discounted FFV insurance ($20/$30) and then pay $10 per game.
