WESTGATE IMPERIALS PROGRAMME 2017/18 MUVJBL PLAYER SELECTIONS.

Squad/Team selections have all been published and appear below as attached pdfs.

We had our biggest turnout ever and a limited number of places to offer, so it may be that you don't see your name in the lists attached, but that does not mean you aren't a good basketball player. A number of different factors are considered when selecting players across a wide variety of skills sets. The effort and skills on display were impressive and some difficult decisions were made.

You'll note that in some cases we're publishing squad lists that allows for player movement between the listed teams. Final team selections will be made directly after the Geelong Tournament (4th & 5th November). If this is the case you will be advised personally of the outcome and not via the website. You will have a place in a team, and must register to attend training, but the final team selections will not be confirmed until just the week beginning Monday 6th November ready for Grading Phase One. 

Successful players that have not played at Imperials last season will also need to provide a copy of their birth certificates before they can be registered by us with MU VJBL for this season.

Players looking to move from one MU VJBL association to another must first obtain a clearance. Use the league-specific clearance forms.

• Players must lodge their clearance forms with league administration to be processed.
• Clearances may take up to 7 days to process from the date received.
• There is a $22 fee payable with the application.
• The player or new association must wait until the player’s name appears in the clearance list online before the player is eligible to compete for their new association.
