Mackay Club Referees Program
This year MRFZ are trailling a CLUB REFEREE PROGRAM whereby local club members and fans assist with the supply of referees to our local games.
Referee coverage to games is always one of the most difficult tasks to administrate, especially with 24 games every weekend in the Mackay Region.
There are many issues around the retention of officials and whilst we have incentives such as the Referee Loyalty Program, it is still difficult to cover all games.
With the club referee program, MRFZ are attempting to get more officials on the park, especially around the clubs they reside in.I
