MiniRoos has a new national sponsor, the supermarket chain ALDI. There are two main components of MiniRoos, Kick-Off (for ages 4-9) and Club (ages 5-11). Football CQ will continue to promote an overall program for ages 5-11 and encourages clubs to run their own individual Kick-Off programs.

In 2018 U12s will remain competitive but revert to 9 a side and play on smaller fields.

Note: there is no Squirts program sanctioned by FFA anymore. Replacement is the Kick-Off program but you can read more in the MiniRoos Details document:
