Here's details of the exciting Quad Series we have in place for 2016 for our competitive juniors. Games will feature teams from Gladstone, Biloela and Central West, as well as Rockhampton. The following information on trials relates to the Rockhampton clubs only at this stage. Dates for trials in other centres will be posted once they are finalised.

Note that interzone games will be a feature for our juniors this year leading into the Champion of Champions tournament in September. Dates for those are also listed below.

2016 FCQ Junior Intra-Zone Representative Quad Series:

• Quad Series Coaches and Managers called for on 15 February, and named by the end of February.
• Junior Season in Rockhampton starts weekend of 5-6 March.
• Junior Trials for Rockhampton on Sunday 13th March and Sunday 20th March. Venue: Norbridge Park; Time: 3pm-5pm (approx.)(registration at 2.30pm)
• 1st Trials for Gladstone 17 April at Palm Drive.
• 1st Quad Series Games (at Gladstone) 15 May.
• 2nd Quad Series Games (at Emerald for boys; Biloela for girls) 5 June.
• 3rd Quad Series Games (at Rockhampton) 26 June.
• Winners announced after 3rd round of games.

2016 Zone Development Series:

• Zone Development Coaches and Managers named in June.
• Zone Development Selectors observing potential players over Quad Series.
• Zone Development Squads for various age groups announced weekend of 2-3 July.
• Inter-Zone Representative Development Games FCQ v Football Wide Bay Sunday 17 July (at Gladstone).
• Inter-Zone Representative Development Games FCQ v Sunshine Coast Sunday 7 August (at Bundaberg).
• Champions of Champions Tournament at Sunshine Coast 22 to 27 September.
