Development Breakers (D-Breaks) back for 2014-15

The D-Breaks is a relatively new and unparalleled program that will be the cornerstone for developing and integrating players into Junior Breakers.

D-Breaks will target and identify talented young players between 7-9 years of age as well as older age groups from the Mornington Peninsula. Prospective Players are "identified" through scouting of domestic games & programs, school holiday camps, and skills clinics. These select players will help contribute to the continuous development of Junior Breakers.

The program will emphasise player development by teaching fundamentals & advanced skill sets that will help youngsters increase their knowledge about the game of basketball. The D-Breaks will compete in our domestic competition alongside a local tournament experience.

This program will be over-seen by the Director of Coaching DeMarcus Berry and Coordinated & Trained by Luke Ryan along with guest and development coaches.

The cost of the program: $225

What players receive:

  • A weekly training session
  • A game weekly in our MDBA domestic competition.
  • Participation in a local tournament
  • Structured program
