Belmont's Laser sailors Master the Nationals!

Some of our Laser sailors spent a beautiful 4-day weekend up at Port Stephens to race the 2016 Australian Laser Masters Championship. 204 sailors over 35 years of age . . . . that's an impressive fleet!!

Donkey (Gary Boyd) placed 6th in the Laser Apprentice (35-44yrs) fleet. In the Laser Masters (45-54yrs) fleet, Boat (Phil Thompson) also placed 6th, just ahead of Hot Hot Hot (Chris Caldecoat) in 7th.
The Laser Grand Masters (55-64yrs) saw Monkey Mafia (Paul Garaty) finish in 12th, with Slide (Paul Beath) in 18th.

Strumpet (Bruce Taylor) was our only representative in the largest of the fleets - the Laser Radial Grand Masters (55-64yrs) and he finished in 32nd overall.

Congratulations on your results "Team Belmont"!
