YACHTING AUSTRALIA SEEK FEEDBACK ON SPECIAL REGULATIONS

Glen Stanway from Yachting Australia has written to the Commodore seeking comments from the Club on the proposed changes to the Special Regulations for Categories 1 - 7 for 2017-20.

The proposed changes stem primarily from submissions made by the State Associations, a Working Party that looked at consistencies with World Sailing (ISAF) and specific feedback received from boat owners.

The focus of this public consultation stage is on tangible changes to the Special Regulations. It may not include all administrative changes or formatting. Public comment, including feedback from clubs, is being managed solely using an online system that will provide a consistent format for receiving comment.

You can access the online feedback system and the draft changes via this link. The survey will close on 6 March 2016.

Please take time to review the draft changes and to complete the survey. It will only take 10-15 minutes and, apart from giving feedback, will keep you up to date with the proposed changes.

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
