Girls Winter League - ONLINE REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

The Girls Winter League is an exciting new version of our game combining both Touch Football and Rugby League Rules (no tackle). Games are Sunday mornings from May 15 to August 19 with the Grand Final being held at Remondis Stadium on a Friday night!

The Girls Winter League (GWL) will run over 12 weeks (10 rounds and 2 weeks of finals). The calendar is based on the JRL season and will commence during Round 6. Please note the Public and School Holidays.

Divisions available
Under 7 (Born 2009 or after)
Under 9 (Born 2007 or after)
Under 11 (Born 2005 or after)
Under 13 (Born 2003 or after)
Under 15 (Born 2001 or after)
Ladies Open (Born 2000 or before)

Registration Fee = $75 per player (based on minimum of 9 players per team)

Some of the rules
- Field with corner posts and goals
- Can drop the ball as in Rugby League
- Half RL field with 10m in goals
- 7 players per team
- Kicking allowed
- Dummy half can be touched
- Kickoffs
- Play the ball with a foot
- Conversions

How do you register?
Complete the Girls Winter League Online Registration Form. When completing this form you will need to register to one of the 14 JRL Clubs. To check out which clubs you can play for click on our Clubs tab above.
