BKC SCORES UPSET IN PFA ADULT FALL LEAGUE

Team Belau Kanu Club showed they are one of the teams to watch for this season as they scored a huge upset against a highly talented Team Bangladesh, 4-0 Sunday in the ongoing Palau Football Association Ault Fall League at the National Track & Field.

Team BKC stormed the first half as Tino scrored on a goal in the 21st minute while teammate Dave added another goal in the 45th minute to take a commanding 2-0 lead. In the second half, team BKC proved unstoppable as Joe scored in the 47th minute while McGee placed the icing on the cake as he scored a goal in the 57th minute.

In the following game, New Stars F.C. and Taj F.C. match ended in a draw, 2-2. New Stars F.C. thought it would be an easy game as Nasa landed a goal in the 1st minute of play but Taj F.C.'s Kamatsu leveled the game as he scored a goal in the 10th minute to tie the match 1-all. Then Taj F.C.'s Nishita scored in the 23rd minute to take a 2-1 lead. Going into the second half of play, Baba scored a goal for the New Stars F.C. in the 50th minute to tie the game at 2-all. From there, both teams showed their defensive prowess as the game ended in a draw.

Games will resume on December 02, 2012 with New Stars F.C. versus BKC at 5:30pm and Taj F.C. versus Kramers F.C. in the main game at 6:45pm.

The tournament is sponsored by Surangel and Sons, Taj Restaurant, Kramers Bar & Restaurant, and Salvador Remoket. The league is also supported by German Honorary Counsel Thomas Schubert and Rene & Jane Menz.
