26Nov12 Oceania Sports Education Program (OSEP)

This 2 day OSEP program run by Albert Miller was attended by 25 participants from 14 local organisations that are currently involved in the promotion of cycling in Fiji.

The theory section of the course was held at the FASANOC conference room at Olympic House, 17 Bau Street, while the practical sessions were conducted at the Fiji Sports Council Hockey turf at Laucala Bay.

The 14 organisations represented at the certification program will be better equipped to develop the cyclists within their various organisations.

The organisations include Cycling Fiji, Fiji Triathlon Association, Yet Sen, Disabled Sports, Fiji National University, Ministry for Works, Nadi Cycling, Body life Gym Nadi, Post Fiji, Marist Brothers High School, International Secondary School, Garden City, Navy, Army and Police.

 The participants at this course will also participate in next week’s 2nd Pacific Islands Cycling Championships in Fiji from Sat8Dec12-Tu11Dec12.
