LYVNA 17U Team 2 Go Down By 2

After a close first quarter, Richmond pulled away in the second to a 6 goal lead early in the 3rd quarter.  To their credit LYVNA 17U-2 fought hard and started to mount a comeback and slowly close the gap.

Still down by 4 early in the 4th quarter, LYVNA played the best 5 minutes of the game to bridge the gap and draw even.  With the momentum with LYVNA it seemed only time before they pulled away.  Forcing turnover after turnover, LYVNA couldn't convert them into goals to take the lead.  Richmond rallied at the dying stages of the game to gain and convert a turnover to take a 2 goal lead with only a few second to go, and that was it, game over.

Great game and great season by LYVNA 17-2.  Well done to Kaz, Kim and all the girls.  You shoudl be very proud of your efforts.
