Year 7 and Year 8 Player Development Programme

See the Year 7&8 Player Development programme tab under 'representatives' on this website for more information about this Netball NZ Programme. A squad of 60 players will be selected for each age group.

Year 9 & U15

Players may be nominated by their School/Club on form NHV 9. Nominations due 22 March 2019. Alternatively, players may self-nominate using our online registration form. This will be available at the right hand side of our webpage as a box to click on. You may need to scroll down to see it as other programmes are also open for registration.

We will be selecting TWO Year 9 teams and TWO U15 teams (a Green and a Gold). In order to be considered for selection in a NHV Representative team, players need to be available for the dates as listed below. There is a space on the registration form to note any dispensation requests.

Trial One: Thursday 4 April: Year 9 6-7.15pm, sign in 5.45pm. U15 7.15-8.30pm, sign in 7.00pm. Taita Courts.

Trial Two: Sunday 7 April: Year 9 9-10.15am, sign in 8.45am. U15 10.15-11.30am, sign in 10.00am. Walter Nash.

Trial Three: Monday 8 April: 6.00pm-8.00pm, Year 9 and U15 at the same time. Taita Courts.

Note; following each trial, we will advise which players are invited to the next trial.

Other important dates:

Tuesday 9 April - Squads Announced (will train prior to and during school holidays on dates TBC)
Friday 26 April – Teams announced
Sunday 28 April – Rep Team Day for all selected players. Will include a range of activities/information etc to set players up for the season. 1-2.30pm at Walter Nash. Family member to stay with each player please.
Friday 17 May - Representative Subs Due
Sunday 19 May - Uniform allocation - Year 9 at 1pm, U15 at 1.30pm.
Thursday 25 July – Representative prizegiving – evening

1-2 June – Marjorie Jendon Tournament - Masterton
9 June – Betty Steffensen Tournament – Palmerston North
16 June - Wellington Combined Year 9 & U15 Tournament - Kapiti
30 June – Molly Dorne Tournament - Levin
7-9 July – North Island U15’s – New Plymouth - U15 Gold and Year 9 Gold teams– overnight 6-9 July at Top 10 Taranaki. Travel 6 and 9 July.

Kitchen/BBQ Fundraising:

Saturday 18 May - Year 9 Green & U15 Green
Saturday 25 May – Year 9 Gold & U15 Gold
Saturday 22 June - fundraising rain out day on hold for rep teams.
Possible additional fundraising dates.

Trainings:

Training sessions will be confirmed once coaches are appointed. Players will be required to attend team training sessions, which may be on different days in tournament weeks, and during the school holidays.

U17 and U19
