JUNIOR PRIZEGIVING 2016

YEAR 3-4 ANZ futureFERNS

On 20 August we will have a Crazy Hat Day and Prize Giving for teams in the Year 3-4 programme.  We will have four Prize Giving times to make it convenient for teams and keep the group sizes manageable.    We encourage your teams to wear crazy hats to their games.  Last year teams really got behind this, with some teams using it as a chance for some team building and having a craft session the week before.  If you don’t feel crafty then everyone will have a hat of some sort so you can still join in – from woolly to witches!  There will be spot prizes.  On this day the teams will have time for longer games than usual as we will not be running a skills session first.  We have a facebook event you can share:  https://www.facebook.com/events/1816474765240804/

There will be a chance for parents/whanau to take photos when the teams have collected their certificates, so please remind your teams to wear their correct uniforms and represent your school with pride.

Prize giving times:

 9.50am – all teams from the 9 am and 10 am rounds

11.50am – all teams from the 11am and noon rounds

1.50pm – all the 1pm teams, plus the Court 4 2pm teams (Te Aroha 5, Boulcott Yellow, Sacred Heart 5, TAWKKM 4, Waterloo Fantails)

2.50pm – all the 3pm teams, plus the Court 9 2pm teams (TAWKKM 3, Wilford 3, St Bernadette’s Magic, Waterloo Pukekos, Muritai Blue)

YEARS 5-8

The prizegivings for Years 5/6 and 7/8 will be held on Friday 26 August at the Walter Nash Centre.  Teams who won (or were first equal) in Rounds 1 and 2 are invited (see list below).

Families are most welcome to attend and there is a chance to get a photo of your child's team when they have collected their trophy and certificates. 

Teams should be dressed in their uniforms/tracksuits to represent their school/club with pride.  Your team will need to assemble early so that they are seated on time.

If your team can't attend, please let us know.  This will help the evening to run smoothly.

Parking is available on the Taita Courts for a gold coin donation.
