Tai Wynyard commits to Kentucky Wildcats

The Kentucky basketball team will be adding another player to this season's roster. Tai Wynyard, initially a member of the 2016 class, signed his letter of intent Sunday and plans to enroll at UK in December.

"I am officially a Kentucky Wildcat for this season! See you soon BBN," Wynyard Tweeted.

Congratulations to the Lady Rangers for winning the SAS NBC tournament held at Trust Arena over the past week. It was great to see the return of some local girls from the USA playing for WWABi and winning the championships.more

U17 Nationals @ Harbour 2015

The 2015 Under 17 National Championships reached their conclusion at North Shore Events Centre on Saturday afternoon. The two finals were conclusively and ultimately comfortably won by Waikato (Girls) and North Harbour (Boys). WWABi Boys finished 6th and the Girls finished 15th.

World 3x3 U18 Champions!!!!

DEBRECEN (2015 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championships) - Just four years after their success at the inaugural FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championships, New Zealand's men regained their crown while France's women won for the first time in Debrecen, Hungary on Sunday.more

Basketball New Zealand today confirmed coaching lineups for both the Tall Blacks and the Tall Ferns in 2015 as both take on qualifying for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Features for the Tall Blacks include a continued rise for former Tall Black guard and Assistant Coach Paul Henare as the 36 year old is named Head Coach, and the reappointment of Pero Cameron as one of two assistant’s to Henare. Mmore

Tai Wynyard will be a KENTUCKY WILDCAT!!!

Kiwi basketball prodigy Tai Wynyard has committed to the successful University of Kentucky Wildcats college programme.

The New Zealand Breakers development player also visited Villanova and Texas during a trip to the United States, but decided on Kentucky - the eight-time NCAA men's champions.

Kentucky are the top ranked men's team in the United States this season with a perfect 19-0 recordmore

Congratulations to the U13 Boys for winning the last U13 National Championships in Dunedin over the 2nd week of the October school holiday period. The boys finished off a great week of basketball by winning the final by 1 point. The Girls finished 7th.more

Just to let you all know, we have had a change in court allocation for our WEDNESDAY AND MAINLY THE THURSDAY competition. We have also had a team withdraw for the u17 girls competition so please double check your game times. Please ensure you check the draws online as of Tuesday 22nd May as the times for your games or courts may have changed.
