Tai Wynyard selected for Tall Blacks!!!

WWABi's own Tai Wynyard has been selected into the Tall Blacks squad in preparation for World Cup in Spain. He is the youngest Tall Black selected. The future looks really bright for this 16 year old...Congrats Tai!!more

U15 Nationals results

Congratulations to both Kale Lawson and Sylvia Wieczoreck for being selected in the tournament team at the U15 Nationals in Wellington. The boys finished 6th and the girls finished 7th. Well done to both teams.more

U19 Nationals results

Congratulations to both WWABi's U19 Boys and girls team who competed in Nelson for Nationals. The Boys finished 6th and the girls finished 4th. Wuanyei Ah Hing, Connie Poletti and Kane Keil were selected for tournament team as well.more

BBNZ Levy for 2014

In 2014, Basketball New Zealand has introduced League team levy to be charged to all affiliated associations. This will mean an increase in league cost per team due to the introduction of this BBNZ levy.more

JAMES BLOND SUPER CITY RANGERS RE-SIGN DUANE BAILEY FOR 2014 NBL SEASON

The Super City Rangers today announce that we have re-signed Duane Bailey for the 2014 NBL season. Duane who had a break out year in 2013 with the Rangers and made a strong impression at a national level and went on to be signed initially as a development player for the NZ Breakers with this position elevated to the starting roster after the departure of two of their players.more
