This is a referee campaign being used by the PNBA to endeavour to encourage more people in Basketball Refereeing. Each referee will recieve a yellow whistle and grey top and a poster will be sent out to all schools.

We have available in booklet form the basic rules and signal that will get you started in refereeing that will only cost you $5.00. Asked Willie or Helen at the office or at Basketball on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

Most Improved Referee is presented each year by the Palmerston North Basketball Association using the Kirton Family Trophy that was first presented in 1981.
