And the winner is THE LOCAL FOOTY SHOW

THE LOCAL FOOTY SHOW TAKES OUT 2012 AWARD FOR BEST TELEVISION FEATURE!

Yes, for the second time in three years, The Local Footy Show has won the top television award for community football.

Last Friday at the 2012 Community Football Media Awards function at Docklands stadium, Terry O'Callaghan's great story on Rumbalara Football Club, entitled "Rumbalara – A Success Story", was named "Best Television Feature/Story for 2012".

The Local Footy Show won two nominations out of the final short list of five, with Channel 10, WIN Television and AFL Media among the other nominees. This latest honour is a great reward for our fantastic team of volunteers who give of their time and skills every week to provide quality content for our 90-minute show.

Congratulations to all concerned, with special thanks to our sponsors who make it all possible, our crew and of course, the great support from Channel 31.
