Junior Hoopers

 JUNIOR HOOPER'S TERM 2, 2017

 

Junior and Little Hooper’s are mini development programs designed as an entry point for new basketball players aged 5-7 and 8-12 years. These programs embrace the concept of modified sport, where participants can enjoy themselves in fun activities without the pressure of full-scale competition.

 

Our Hooper’s programs run in each of the school terms.

 

Junior Hooper’s – Term 2

 

Junior Hooper’s is run for children aged 8-12, commencing on Thursday 27th of April 2017 and concluding on Thursday 29th of June 2017 (10 weeks). Sessions will be run from 5:00pm to 6:00 pm and will take place on court 6 at the Mike Barnett Sports Complex (c/o Dixon Road and Goddard Street, Rockingham).

 

Cost

 

Cost is $100.00 per child, which can be paid in cash on your first session, in 2 instalments, $50 in week 1 and $50 in week 6 or through Kidsport.

 

How to Register

 

Fill in registration form (found on the Rockingham Flames website) and hand in or email to admin before your first session.

 

Participants are required to;

 

  • Bring a basketball clearly labelled with their name and contact number
  • Bring a water bottle with water
  • Wear shoes appropriate for running and jumping
  • Wear clothing that does not restrict movement of the arms and legs so children can run, jump, pass and defend. Clothing MUST NOT have pockets.
  • All Jewellery MUST be taken off.
  • Hair tied back or out of the child’s face.

 

Parents are required to;

 

  • Advise RBRA admin via email when their child will not be attending sessions.

 

Terms and Conditions

 

  1. Parents and children are to adhere to the YMCA centre policy at all times
  2. Parents and children are responsible for their child’s basketball. The RBRA will not be responsible for lost or damaged balls.
  3. Participants who wish to pull out of the program will not be refunded their fees.

 

 

Kidsport

 

The RBRA is a Kidsport club. Kidsport vouchers approved by the council can be used to pay your childs program fees however, if your child commences the program and then pulls out, the voucher amount will not be refunded. Kidsport vouchers can be retrieved from your local council and must be signed and verified by your council and then given to the RBRA administrator. You will then be required to sign a RBRA Kidsport voucher reimbursement form before the voucher can be used.
