Saturday, 5th March 2016 - Cairns' Level 1 AFL Coaching Accreditation Course

Please be advised it is COMPULSORY for all coaches of all grades to have a minimum Level 1 AFL Coaching Accreditation. Cairns Level 1 AFL Coaching Accreditation, will be on Saturday, 5th March 2016 at AFL Cairns Headquarters.

The Level 1 AFL Coaching Accreditation will be offered for Junior, Youth and Seniors (incl. Women’s), with coaches electing their category based on grade they are coaching.

ALL assistant coaches must also undertake the Level 1 AFL Coaching Accreditation.

Once Coaches are registered, AFL Queensland will send all registered coaches course specific information by email in the week leading into the event.

The Cairns Level 1 Coaching Course will be split into Junior, Youth & Senior. The Course will run approx. from 08:30am to 04:30pm. NB: Coaches who are updating will only be required to attend a half day, however are encouraged to remain for the full day for Personal Development.

AFL Coach Accreditation is valid for 4 years. In 2016, coaches must re-register every year using their Footyweb login, to register yourself as actively coaching this season and to ensure personal details are accurate. To re-register, CLICK HERE

Could all clubs please ensure the necessary personnel at your Club, including Coaches, Assistant Coaches, etc are aware of the date in case they are requiring accreditation or re-accreditation.
