Victorian Selection For Diamond Valley Players
DiamondValley players have again featured in selections for Victorian Metro & Country teams to compete in the 2013 National Championships in the U/20 & U/18 age groups. The U/20’s have 4 DV players – Carly Turner ( AIS ) & Jaclyn Smith ( Capt ) and Matt Jackson & Greg Page ( Capt ). Greg recently moved to play SEABL with Knox
U/18’s have 5 players - Amy O’Neil (Capt) & Alexandra Sharp along with Abi Akintola (AIS) and Anthony Karabatsos ( Emerg ) in the boys. Leo Viitala (recently moved to Seymour) was selected to the Vic Country boy’s team

The club is very proud of these achievements, some have featured in state teams since bottom age U/16s so there is a significant cost and commitment from the families and players “
