"Ask not what your sport can do for you, but ask what can you do for your sport".

THE Townsville Eagles representative AFL team has been finalised ahead of its clash with the Army's finest in next month's NAB Cup curtain-raiser at Tony Ireland Stadium.
A preliminary squad of 54 has been whittled down to 24 determined young men who are under no illusions that they'll head into the encounter as firm underdogs.
The Army outfit has been training since December and features some of the region's most skilled and experienced players but Townsville coach Barry Gibson said his charges would make their mark on the representative stage.
"Some people might think we don't stand a chance but it's a two-horse race and we feel we're at least half a chance," he said.
"The players who are part of this team will one day reflect on the experience and say they were a part of this historic day for Townsville AFL, so for this blokes to get this opportunity is fantastic."
