QGSSSA participates annually in the Interstate Challange, a weekend interstate carnival contested by some of Australia's premier girls' school sports associations.
The 2017 Challenge will be held in Brisbane on 22 & 23 September.
Netball, Football (Soccer) and Tennis will be contested between QGSSSA, GSV (Vic) ISA and IGSSA (NSW), and IGSSA South Australia.
Girls enrolled at all QGSSSA schools are invited to trial for these teams. Girls must be representing their school in that sport to be eligible. Those successful will be required to attend several training sessions at a central location prior to the team's departure to Melbourne. Please note - competition is against girls generally aged 16-18.
FOOTBALL - will be played at Monash University (Clayton Campus)
NETBALL - will also be played at Monash University (Clayton Campus)
TENNIS - will also be played at Monash University (Clayton Campus)
ACCOMMODATION - Teams and Officials will stay in hotel accommodation in nearby Glen Waverley.
This is a unique opportunity to represent Queensland's premier girls' school sport association against the best from the other states. Nominations for players, coaches and managers need to be completed online via the 'QG Rep Teams' menu.
