Strategic planning

10 sport administrators were part of the first session of the Oceania MOSO III in Nadi, Fiji.  The countries represented are PNG, Palau, Tonga, Vanuatu, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Kiribati, FSM, New Zealand and Tokelau.  Most of the administrators are national olympic committee representatives.

The training is part of the OSEP Oceania MOSO III training for national sport administrators. The purpose of the "Managing Strategically" session is to assist administrators to effectively plan, implement and review organisational strategic plans and operational plans for their Olympic Sport Organisation (OSO)

The session is being facilitated by PNGSFOC Secretary General Auvita Rapilla and OSEP Coordinator Sainimili Talatoka using the Readiness Assessment Tool (R.A.T.) as a key diagnostic tool.  The case study focused on PNG Sport Federation & National Olympic Committee's planning process for their current 2011-2015 strategic plan.

Delegates include:

  1. 'Ahosivi Kaitapu of Tonga NOC
  2. Cassidy Shoniber of FSM NOC
  3. James Kalo of Vanuatu NOC
  4. Jubilee Kuartei of Palau NOC
  5. Loretta Hasu of PNG NOC

Comment Guidelines: The SportingPulse Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
