International Coaching Enrichment Programme (USOC)

 

The program will consist of four modules scheduled over an academic year, during which time the candidate will work with an international tutor to develop a personal project that will be implemented for the benefit of the respective sport or sport in general in his or her country.

The course is focused towards coaches in the following sports; Cook Islands membership

 

Athletics, Basketball, Boxing, Canoe/Kayak, Swimming, Table Tennis, Volleyball (Women) and Weightlifting.

 

Programme Dates:

 

Application deadline: Friday, 15

th March 2013, 12 noon.

Project submission deadline: Friday, 19

th July 2013, 12 noon.

Note that the due dates are slightly different from the brochure, mainly because of the approval process and documentation to provide to the Executive Board of CISNOC before approval is made and sent to the United States Olympic Committee, for their final endorsement.

Updates

Mauke is welcoming the participating Islands for the 7th Manea Games, 6th - 17th October 2014. CISNOC President, Snr Vice President and Sports Manager will be in attendance as the NOC officials.

ANOC General Assembly will be hosted this year in Bangkok from the 7 - 8 November, attending wll be the President and Secretary General.

 

MANEA GAMES UPDATE

Telecom Medal Tally after Day 5 of the Manea Games, Aitutaki still lead the table, with Mauke in 2nd, followed by Mangaia, Mitiaro and Atiu. Day 6 of competition will see the island continuing the Cricket and Tennis competitions.
