BDJFA Awards evening - Worthy winners

The BDJFA Awards were presented last evening to a large crowd of life members, players, parents and guests. There were a few tense moments as the vote count was close for the Year 7/8s and Year 9/10s Fairest and Best.more

Grand Final Fixtures

The BDJFA Grand Finals for 2014 will be played at Bovell Park this Saturday, September 13. Please note the start times are different to the regular home and away fixtures:

- Year Y7/8s Grand Final Match - Saints v Wanderers, 11:30am
- Year Y9/10s Grand Final Match - Towns v Saints, 1:15pm

From Auskick to Junior Football

To help with planning for the 2015 season, Busselton Auskickers moving to a Year 3 or Year 4 competition next season are being asked to register with a junior football club.

To qualify for the 2015 Year 3 competition, the footballer's birth date must be no later than 30 June 2007.more

After a grueling 15 rounds of footy with no byes, we've finally made it to the finals series for the Year 10s and Year 8s. Congratuations to all teams across all grades for the spirit in which junior footy has been played this season.

Guest AFL Speakers - Archer and Barlow, August 15

The Busselton District Junior Football Association and the Busselton Football Club are proud to host two AFL guest speakers this Friday, August 15.

North Melbourne's 'Shinboner of the Century' Glenn Archer and Fremantle Docker Michael Barlow will provide an evening of entertainment and open discussions, in a family friendly environment.

Tickets are just $15 each. Kids 12 and under are free.more

2014 Junior Club Manual

The junior club manual is published annually by the WA Football Commission and is a very useful resource to help clubs and managers with the running of junior football teams.more

AFL Umpire Roadshow 2014

The AFL Umpire Roadshow of the South West Region will hit Busselton on Wednesday March 5, at the Busselton Football Club from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet quality AFL Umpires at a local venue and should not be missed.

Umpire registrations 2014

The Association is asking umpires to register for the 2014 season. There are two options for registration, either online or using a printed form.more

Register for Auskick 2014

The AFL Auskick programme is being run during 2014 at three centres across the district: Busselton, Dunsborough and Vasse. Registrations are being accepted online.more

Junior football registration 2014

Players and Umpires may register in person on Sunday, February 23 from 3pm to 5pm at the Busselton Football Club, Sir Stewart Bovell Park.

New players, please bring your birth extract.

Registration is open to new and existing players and umpires, boys and girls, Auskick and AFL Youth Girls.more

Re-register online

Returning players can now re-register with the Club they played for last season online.

Players that are new to competition football of the Association (including Auskickers) will need to complete a player registration form.more

Year Group Chart - 2014

Having trouble trying to work out your year group? No worries, you're not alone.

To help, a handy chart has been prepared to work out your year group based on a player's date of birth. It may be found on the Association website by following the links from the menu bar... 'Rules and forms' > 'Competition rules'.more

Competition start dates

The Association has decided the competition start date for the 2014 season.

The first round of matches is to be played April 5, followed by the second round on April 12 (the first Saturday of the school holidays).more
