Junior Club Allstars Tournament

The winter club season finished on Saturday for the senior grades and the Junior Club Allstars followed up on Sunday. Fourteen rounds of junior club action on three courts showed off the future of Canterbury basketball. Teams from Pioneer, Bishopdale, Cowles and Wharenui, across six grades, battled each other for the junior club allstars title. In all 280 players from yr 3 to yr 8 represented their junior clubs with pride. Canterbury U21 Rep player and Southland Shark, Ethan Rusbatch, presented the certificates only 24 hours after winning the Canterbury U23mens and Premier mens Championships with his Checkers club.
