The off season Transfer period continues to throw up surprises with Thomas Kickett joining the Magpies following papers being lodged with the League.
24 year old Kickett leaves the Robins after just 33 games, 13 of which were last year, including 7 times adjudged in their top 6. On his day Kickett has the class to dominate local football as he did in his teenage years, however injury niggles seem to be a constant problem of the last few seasons.
In 2010 Kickett had the door to the AFL ajar playing 9 games in the VFL & TAC Cup for Greater Western Sydney.
The following year Kickett was with the Box Hill VFL side (aligned to Hawthorn) where he played 14 Box Hill Reserves games and 4 games in the Seniors.
Centrals will be delighted to welcome Kickett into their program and if they can get him fitter he has the class to be an important goal kicking midfielder.
His arrival at Magpie land adds another touch of excitemmet for Pie supporters who have Ben Camilleri back as a playing Coach, Heath Harris joining the Club this week, Michael Anderson back in town after a year travelling and an injury free Loccy Jenkin who missed almost all of season 2015.
