We Need You

If you are interested in becoming a basketball referee, please contact Robyn at the stadium via admin@mbba.com.au or call into the referees room on a game night and talk to Rachel Paech. It is not essential to hold accreditation or have past experience to start refereeing. We encourage people of all ages who are enthusiastic about basketball and possess a positive attitude towards learning to give it a go.

Attending relevent training courses will also enhance your knowledge of the rules and the game and how to referee. Officials who undergo professional development are rewarded with increased match payments and the opportunity to represent Murray Bridge at local, intrastate and national basketball tournaments.

Introduction to Refereeing courses are held in Murray Bridge on a demand basis. When there are enough interested persons, a session will be scheduled. If you are interested in attending the next referee course, please contact any of the people listed above.
